Lady Penelope got cancer of the jaw and face area in January and Dr. Bower gave us the very best inforation regarding dealing with it. She expalined the risks and benefits of treatment versus palliative care and gave us a very accurate timetable for the progression of the disease. Penelope was our third Maine Coon cat and our first to contract a lethal illness in her prime. Our first two lived 18 and 16 years. We lost her in March at 9 years and Dr. Bower was the most sensitive and compassionate person dealing with her euthinasia. During the entire procedure she calmly stroked our kitty making the experience much easier on her and us. We cannot thank her enough for the way she managed our girl's last days. Penny was able to purr almost to the very end and someday we will see her again at the rainbow bridge.
